The Archery Performance Center Austria offers high-quality and extensive training opportunities for performance-oriented archers of all ages, with specialized programs for young athletes.
In addition, we provide state-of-the-art analysis and equipment technology, including video and center-of-mass analysis, as well as equipment optimization and individual adjustments using high-speed cameras, custom grips and specialized 3D-printed components.
The athletes are looked after by a highly qualified, motivated team of instructors, trainers, therapists and specialists with many years of experience.
On the sports facilities we use, the archers can train up to 90m (outdoor) or 30m (indoor).
The athletes are divided into three performance groups, individually supervised by a team of specially trained trainers and professionally prepared for national and international tournaments.
Through realistic goals, clear analyses and long-term planning, we introduce young people carefully but consistently to top-level sport, which has a side effect of reducing the drop-out rate in competitive sport.
Trainers are not only welcomed, but are also encouraged (train the trainer) to deepen and further develop their skills in specialist lectures and through active involvement in pedagogical training processes. We all together can build the „Team Archery Austria“.
The APC aims to work with coaches from all clubs and squads, the associations and the ÖBSV/Archery Austria with it’s bases.
Our goal is to raise archery in Austria to a professional competitive sport level through a well-thought-out, innovative, educational and long-term concept. Through our training, we support archers extensively on their path to competitive sport and prepare them technically, physically and mentally for their national and international competitions.
